Creative

Creative expression is consciousness birthing itself through form.

Whether it’s performance, writing or by some other means you’ll always find me creating new work.

Expression is one of my highest values and nothing gives me more joy than to make messages, story and character come alive through various artistic means.

Currently I’m working on a feature length screenplay and a set of short stories.

The screenplay working title is tentatively called The Land and is a fantasy adventure romance that looks like a Tantric cross between Game of Thrones and David Lynch. (!) It’s sexy and awesome…

Stay tuned! xx

I feel you in my dark places

I think of you

And feel it in my dark places

I feel it in my wet places

The places that are below.

I want to open it up to you

I want to surrender myself open to you…

Things feel transparent today

Things feel transparent today

The sheets coiled around her. The silk asiatic robe she had fallen asleep in twisted around one half of her body, leaving her breasts exposed to the ceiling. She snuffled into her own wild locks and pulled the sheets and robe back over her again.

What was the time? The light was already filtering in through the suburban forest outside her wall sized windows. Green leaf light. Morning light. Light with a tinge of extra red. It seemed nostalgic somehow. But it was early. She knew that. Good. She was tired of late starts. Good to get up early. She could do yoga for once.

It Rains Outside (one from the archive)

It rains outside.

I hear the drops falling in rivers from blocked guttering.

Imagine the splattering of water haze on the road

refracting in the street lamp light.

Just Cry (one from the archive)

When I was a little girl

My mother used to cry.

She cried because all of her hopes and dreams
Had died.

The Middle Path

The Middle Path

Check these links to view two video pieces I made in 2013. The first ever pieces of directorial and video art work I did, they were for an art installation piece called The Middle Path which was exhibited in Melbourne.

The project looks at the necessity of both the creative and spontaneous with the logical and rational in our lives. That we need both to thrive and one without the other is unbalanced. It was an interesting journey to travel! You get the medicine you ask for, that’s for sure!

Love, the most efficient teacher

Love, the most efficient teacher

The more I journey love
The more I realise
I have no idea what it
Is

What I normally live in
Is a set of conditions.
Agreements.
You scratch my back
And I scratch yours…
But if you DON’T scratch my back…
Hell, look out!…

To Be Alive…

To Be Alive…

To be alive, to live in the world, to choose to feel all that is there rather than close down in fear at the possibilities that could arise – just over the horizon of that next moment – requires such a deep trust.

An openness and allowing for each moment to be as it is. No changing, no denying, being in a state of openness and welcoming. Flowing, as the river does, with nothing sticking, but ever moving, unravelling, unfurling into now, into now, into now and now and now…
